Richard Tamplenizza is a Sydney-based composer, music producer, and audio post-production professional with a genre-fluid approach spanning hip hop, electronic, and hybrid orchestral production.
With over a decade of screen credits, including Netflix, BBC Studios, ABC, SBS, and Google, Richard brings his compositional range to original scoring, sonic branding, and music production. As a founding member of hip hop group The Herd, he holds two ARIA gold records and contributed to some of the group's most celebrated releases.
Richard scored animated true-crime series The Twist, which won at the Banff World Media Awards and the Web Series Festival Global in Los Angeles. Its second season was acquired and released by Bilibili, China's largest streaming platform. His sonic branding work spans podcast suites for Are Media, Australia's largest magazine publisher, through to national TVC campaigns for Aldi and Visit NSW.
