Richard Tamplenizza is a Sydney-based film and TV composer, music producer, and sound designer with a genre-fluid approach spanning hip hop, electronic, and hybrid orchestral production. Based in Sydney, Australia, Richard works with clients across Australia, the US, Europe, and Asia.
With over a decade of screen credits, including Netflix, BBC Studios, ABC, SBS, and Google, Richard brings his compositional range to original scoring, sonic branding, and music production. As a founding member of hip hop group The Herd, he holds two ARIA gold records and contributed to some of the group's most celebrated releases.
As a podcast composer and sonic branding specialist, Richard has created audio identities and podcast music suites for Are Media, Australia's largest magazine publisher. He also scored animated true-crime series The Twist, which won at the Banff World Media Awards and the Web Series Festival Global in Los Angeles — its second season acquired by Bilibili, China's largest streaming platform.
